Cornerstone Assembly of God

- A Harbor of Hope & Healing -

UPDATE as of March 18, 2020

March 25, 2020

Dear Cornerstone Family & Friends,

As you all know by now, we are under a direct order from the Governor to "Stay at Home" for the next

Three Weeks (until April 13). Although my hopes were to spend Easter Service together at Church, we

will continue our "Church together at Home" according to the following schedule . . .

 Wednesdays at 6PM - Join Pastor Neal & Deborah as they lead a time of Prayer on Facebook

live on the Cornerstone page.

 Thursdays at 6PM - Students will join Pastor Denny as he leads in a time of worship, squad

wars, message and prayer on Facebook live and Instagram live on the EPIC Students page.

 Sundays at 10AM - Let's gather together by logging on to the Cornerstone page as we "go live"

with Pastor Amy leading us in a time of worship from her home, Pastor Brenda sharing the

message and Pastor Crystal encouraging us on how to stay faithful in giving during this time.

(This is extremely important - The church is still supporting missionaries, local missions, has to

keep the utilities on and other ongoing bills as well as supporting our Pastors on staff.)

 We have also set up Pastor Neal's Daily Devotions to be posted on our Facebook page.

These are all ways we can stay connected in fellowship, in prayer and in the Word during these next few

Please call/text the Prayer Chain anytime at (231) 499-5287 to receive immediate prayer. You're also

welcome to call the Church Office at (231) 275-7025 if you need anything, we will do our best to help in

anyway possible. The Church Office will be open to receive phone calls on Monday, Tuesday and

Wednesdays from 9AM-Noon (the church will remain closed). We are asking that anyone with a key to

the Church, please not enter during this time, except for the three Pastors who will be working on the

specified days.

I am also including the links to the church pages for your convenience

I just want to take a minute and encourage you to continue to Pray through Psalms 91 - Protection over

yourself, your family and the nation. According to 2 Chronicles 7:14, we need to call on God, humble

ourselves in prayer, seek Him and turn from our wicked/selfish ways...then, He will hear, forgive our sin

(our nation's sins) and heal our land. And, don't stop seeking God (His Kingdom first), trusting God and

praying. Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious (worried/fearful) about anything, but in everything, by

prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And THEN the peace of God, which

transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Again, be wise, pray often and share with others the Good News and Hope of Jesus Christ - He is the

Healer for the World.

Love & Blessings,

Pastor Brenda, The Boards & The Staff at Cornerstone A/G
